Superb uke for the money. The finish is good as usual with Kmise. Like the Zebra wood, makes a change from mahogany which most of my ukes are. I agree with Chus about the strings. I prefer low g so have fitted a Fremont squeakless low g. Think I will change the rest to Fremont black as I too am not a big fan of Aquila. They sound very dull, especially on the smaller ukes.
The action is very high for me and there is not a lot of saddle available to remove but I will take off what I can. These are all small things that relate to my personal preferences and do not change the fact that this uke is great value for money.

Amazing uke ,i changed strings (its personal i dont like aquila) and the sound is amazing!!! I thought that it would be a mess and i am impressed i have 9 ukes more expensive and this is my favourite
